My students need new puzzles and games to help improve their letter & number recognition, fine motor, and problem solving skills.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Wels's classroom raised $261

My Students
How disappointed would you be to work hard on a puzzle only to discover that the last piece was missing? Our classroom puzzles are all missing at least one piece.
My kindergarten students are eager to learn and have fun.
They attend a K-8 elementary school in the rural foothills of California. Many have not had the opportunity to attend preschool, so puzzles will be an exciting way for them to learn academic skills while having fun.
My Project
I am asking for Alphabet Train Floor Puzzles, Build-My-Skills Ocean Puzzles, a Matching Activity Game of Opposites, and other number & alphabet puzzles that will be used daily in academic work stations to improve letter and number recognition, fine motor, and problem solving skills. Students will be able to work independently on their skills while I work with other small groups. Keeping track of the puzzle pieces will also help improve their responsibility.
Coming into a new teaching position can be difficult when acquiring materials from previous teachers.
Having new puzzles with all the pieces will provide the students with a sense of accomplishment as they complete their task and learn new skills.
