Our students are super creative and have lots of positive energy. They enjoy puzzles and construction toys and the opportunities those activities present to use their visual and mechanical reasoning abilities. What seems like play to them is actually a valuable learning experience where they get to put their critical thinking skills to the test.
Rainy day recesses can be some of the most challenging days in a school for children and adults alike.
Having a fun plan for the students helps them to enjoy their free, unstructured time in the day, and also helps the adults to meet the needs of our awesome kiddos when the weather throws a wrench in our usual plans. The items we are requesting here will keep them active and engaged, and will also satisfy their need for a fun break from the day's structured learning activities.
