My Students
We are a preschool special education classroom with students that have a variety of needs. Many of my students come from lower income homes. My students are are a loving bunch that enjoy centers such as house area, and the block area.
My Project
Each day when my students come into school we begin our day with a table toy activity. I like to keep these activities simple and fun for the students. We focus these activities around students learning problem solving skills, and working on their fine motor muscles. By having students come in and participating in a fun short activity it allows for the students to reset from the transition of leaving home and coming to school. It also always students to get ready for the school day and to be ready to learn.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
