This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students today are showing signs of the impact of COVID-19 through their lack of participation in group projects, problem solving abilities, and inability to effectively communicate. With the requested resources, I am hoping to create STEAM based hands-on projects that require active group participation and creation, clear and effective communication between members and challenges that force them to problem solve inside and outside of the box in order to complete their projects. I believe with so much focus on math and reading, STEAM is more important than ever to foster a love of science, engineering and art.
