I am a big believer in the fact that little things make a big difference. In fact, sometimes those little things make the biggest difference. My students come to school ready to learn. Happy brains learn! I try to make my classroom a happy place for them. Sometimes they are coming to school with burdens that we have no clue about. So my goal is to make learning fun. My students are excited about reading, math, and computers. We lack headphones in order for them to use them as a class.
My Project
The children in my class have no internet services at home. The headphones will help with my class, in order for them to work on their own learning continuum. I have spent countless dollars every month on small earbuds just to get by. These children would benefit greatly and would be in awe if they all had over the head ear phones. Our school district has made sure our technology is there, but without working headphones the computers the children use are not doing them justice. The children love to learn on computers. It brings to life what learning is instead of just direct teaching. It's animated and exciting.
