FULLY FUNDED! Ms. McDade's classroom raised $190
This project is fully funded
I teach a multi-level special education class and I have to use many centers. It would be nice if one of those centers was an art station. My students have trouble learning, but when we do an art activity their faces light up.
I am teaching social studies when I can in my classroom. I think that the students would be able to make a better connection to the native American way of life if they could weave a basket. Hands-on activity stay longer with my students than just reading about it. Budget cuts have cut are schools resources in buying art supplies.
I need basic art supplies to help my students make connections in all subjects. Art projects give my students a sense of pride in their work because their is no wrong way in art. This is when they feel more successful and I am able to take their learning further.
Your help will ensure that my students will understand about California history. It will bring their stories to life, it will give them a better understanding of what is being taught and raise their self esteem.
