Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love working with special needs kids, especially those with Autism. The way I carry myself with these kiddos is what I wish/want for my experience to be had if I were born with special needs. These kiddos require a lot of patience, have a lot of sensory needs, and are full of personalities! I would love to have the sensory tools needed to aid in calming them down to assist them in their educational career.

Autistic children already have to navigate the world a bit differently than their peers; allow them to navigate it with the tools they need to succeed.

These items will be used during moments of heightened emotions/situations. My students are deserving of all sensory tools and more if it were financially doable. I do appreciate anyone who is willing to donate or even willing to simply share this project. Thank you.
