Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Scholastic News Magazines are a great way for students to stay up-to-date on important information in the world. It also supports their progress in reading skills by providing an engaging opportunity to reinforce vocabulary and comprehension strategies. My little scientists will read these magazines in school and at home in which they will discover more about current science topics and events. Each magazine has a set of interactive activities online and in print that will help my students make real-world connections and become better problem solvers.

These amazing magazines will give my scientists opportunities to expand their world and deepen their understanding of many animals, inventions, events, and many other science topics!

With your thoughtful and generous donation, you will give my third grade scientists the opportunity to get their hands on amazing information and build their love and curiosity of all things science and STEM! These magazines connect current events to the third grade curriculum while helping students practice their reading and science skills.
