Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is full of bright and eager second graders that are ready to learn and grow!

My school is a renaissance school.

Ninety-three percent of the students receive free or reduced priced lunch. The population of the school is 70% Hispanic learners. Most students do not have access to technology or Internet access at home. With the use of technology and other resources in the classroom, my students will be able to reach their highest potential.

My Project

My students learn best when the lessons are interactive and engaging. They gain a better understanding of science and math concepts through pictures, videos, technology and web-based resources. With Amazon Fire tablets in the classroom, my students will be able to become a part of the learning. They will expand their knowledge through the use of research, learning apps, videos, and pictures.

Donations to this project will help students reach towards excellence by including them and exposing them to a classroom filled with pictures, videos, research and interactive technology lessons.

Technology will help them learn in second grade and will continue to help them throughout their journey through school.
