Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a wonderful group of kindergartners who are very eager to learn. Kindergartners learn best with hands-on materials. They are so excited about learning and think that everything we do is neat and exciting. They love science! It makes me giddy to hear a student exclaim, "This is so much fun," while actually learning. The materials I am requesting will inspire them to be creative, critical thinkers. The Design Center and Engineer-A-Coaster Activity Kit, Can DO Motion Discovery Kit, Snap-Bots, Build and Learn Geometric Shape Kit and the Design Play Steam Kits will prompt students to observe and make predictions about the world of motion around them, including pushing, pulling, and balance. These materials will also encourage students to explore cause and effect, make meaningful connections to their real life examples, and observe the world in real, concrete examples.

Donating to our project will provide my student with hands-on materials and experiences to master the concepts of push and pull.

I do not want them to miss out on an exciting opportunity to learn about world of motion while their interest level is high. To be able to provide fun and engaging materials, I need your help!
