My Project
WiDA testing can be extremely stressful -- for both students and teachers. As a reward to my students, I would like support in adding to my classroom including incentives for students, offering flexible seating, and things to make resources more accessible to them.
All of my students come from diverse backgrounds, coming from islands in Micronesia or from varying Asian countries.
My students face the typical 13-14 year old challenges of growing up, but also face the difficulties of navigating a new culture and learning a whole new language. As their teacher, I want to make their time in my classroom meaningful and comfortable to ensure their success.
