Purposeful Play

Help me give my students a Nature Sensory Tray Set that will allow me to use clay, rice, pom poms, animals, sand, play dough, magnetic, and foam blocks to develop fine motor skills and little engineers.

My Project

I’m very excited to start the new school year off with a brand new STEM lab geared towards purposeful play learning.

Our new related arts class will allow PreK-2 students the opportunity to use real life activities and find different ways to master the skill.

Students will be creating models of community buildings out clay, blocks and magnets. Each month will be a themed unit to get students excited about what’s happening in the world around them and make those connections in the classroom (like apple picking and planting). I’m excited to bring back play into the classroom.
