My Students

My class this year is an enthusiastic and eager mix of students from various cultural backgrounds. They have to work hard to overcome the obstacles that face them on a daily basis. However, they are eager to learn and always strive to do their best.

My school is a Title I school with 87 percent of our students participating in the free and reduced-price lunch program.

Several of my students participate in the weekend food backpack program, so they have food over the weekend. My students often come to school without a backpack or uniform. I need help with keeping students organized in all aspects of the classroom.

My Project

Right now, my students "stuff" is everywhere and unorganized! My students spend up to 5 minutes looking for their supplies and materials for each subject taught during the day. That is a lot of learning time lost!

By using drawers at their group tables, students will each have a spot to put their items and to keep them responsible and organized!

These would help students be organized quickly throughout the day. Students would know exactly where things would go, which would help them to stay on task and not worry about where things are or where they go.

My students need help organizing their learning tools with plastic drawers for their tables!

Young students often have a hard time remembering where things go but these would help them stay perfectly organized!
