it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many times students are scrambling to print materials necessary for my class or their other classes. Sometimes the printers at the school library may not be working for various reasons. Other times, students may need material from past assignments and extra copies are no longer available. The reasons to have a quality, color printer in our classroom are endless. Additionally, writer notebooks will increase students' writing ability and stamina by giving them a chance to have their own journal-like books.
Whether it is to print out a student's essay or paper for my class or another class, being able to print graphic organizers or colorful materials for classroom decorative purposes having a classroom printer is a necessity for a highly-functional classroom.
When a classroom is stocked with basic office supplies, the stress of certain needs is erased and we--students and teachers alike--can focus on the important content and skills of our lessons. It is when we are not scrambling to make copies, find a working color printer, or be able to quickly assist a student by printing their work for them that we can be our most effective selves in the classroom for our students.
