This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Ticonderoga pencils are well-known for being the best pencils for students. Students need a good pencil so they can stay focused on annotating their articles or working on their writing. The materials in this project include pencils, construction paper, card stock paper, and manila folders so that we can organize our Performance Task Writing Sources. We will use the highlighters to help with our annotations, as well.
The Ticonderoga pencils stay sharpened without losing their lead like the cheaper models.
There is nothing more frustrating than having a pencil continuously break, or worse yet, not even sharpen properly.
Our students cannot afford to buy the more expensive Ticonderoga pencils, and our school does not supply them. By having these pencils in our classroom, instruction will be smooth and uninterrupted by frequent visits to the sharpener. These great pencils will also alleviate frustration for students because their pencils will not be continuously breaking. In addition, students will be excited to write their Narrative Performance Task using these new supplies.
