My students are kind, loving, accepting, polite, helpful, and have the passion to learn. They are motivated and show their enthusiasm. I love to see the look on their faces when I introduce a new concept and explain how it will connect to the real world. They become excited and want to share their own experiences, and how their experiences are relevant.
One of the many strengths of my students is their ability to help one another and accept each other's differences.

My Project
Students need to improve fluency to enhance their comprehension while reading. What better way to build fluency by having an audio listening center! I am kindly requesting 5 individual CD players with headphones and audio books to help build fluency and comprehension.
All children need to hear good quality reading so that they understand that good reading leads to a better understanding of text.
They need constant exposure to fluent reading. The funding of this project can make this happen! This project will be available to students during center time to engage them in quality literature, and expose them to fluid reading.
