My students each need a flash drive to use to save their work on the computer.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. B.'s classroom raised $476
This project is fully funded
I teach 3rd grade reading and writing to students on the Leeward Coast of Oahu. The school is Title I, meaning most of my students are on free/reduced lunch, and many of them do not have the resources that students in better situations do.
We have a brand new computer lab at our school that is virtually unused- students may use the computers once a week, during their resource classes, but do not have enough time to develop the computer skills they need! My goal for my students this year is that they will publish one paper on the computer each quarter- and they need a way to save their work so they can easily move from computer to computer without having their work deleted.
This is where you come in! With this proposal, each student can have his or her own flash drive to save their writing. They can use either of the three computers in my classroom, go to the computer lab, or even work in the boys and girls club after school. Students will be able to take ownership of their own writing and their own computer skills.
Your help will ensure that my students are able to develop computer and writing skills that will help them work toward being ready for college!
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
