Our school is well known for its outstanding sports teams! With our basketball and football teams leading our school, our music students can have a way to encourage their peers while participating in the games in a fun and spirited way: Pep Band! Our school currently does not have any instruments, and with football seasons being colder months, I wanted to provide my students with an instrument that is fun and will be kind to their hands and embouchures when they perform in the colder temperatures.
With your help, our students can receive an instrument that will take them from the classroom and beyond!
By learning and playing the trumpet, our high school students will develop marching skills, musical performance and literacy skills, as well as be considered for band scholarships in college! By participating in music, and providing trumpets to our students, you are providing them a bright instrument for an equally bright future!
