This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love making music. 3 years ago we started the band program at my school but due to COVID-19 we had to take a hiatus! Now it is time to make music again. By providing my students with these materials, they will get a chance to play wind and percussion instruments again.

Our goal is to have the band performing in their community and other parts of New York City.

My students love to perform and show everyone what they have learned! Please help us make harmonious sounds again!
