My Students
My happy and kind classroom is full of second graders who have such imaginative and creative sides. They are full of energy and love for others and learning. They are working on developing independence and responsibility in 2nd grade in our room.
I have a great group of students currently in my classroom who come from a variety of life experiences and opportunities.
The majority of my students are on free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast with limited experiences.
My Project
We are very grateful to have now one-to-one devices in our school district. However, many of the students do not come with earbuds for daily use at school or home. Unfortunately, this makes it very hard for independent work during reading block for students to not be distracted by the students who do not have earbuds. I would like to provide earbuds to these students as well as store their individual earbuds in Ziploc baggies. I would also like to have mice if the mousepad doesn't work anymore or if it is hard for their navigation in the different individualized learning activities.
