Providing Safe Classroom Spaces

My Students

This upcoming year I will be returning to the Kindergarten classroom! My students will come to me from various economic backgrounds, but they will all have the same desire to learn.

I will be teaching about 24 students that will come into my classroom excited, a little nervous, and eager to learn.

My Project

This will definitely be a much different school year than we are accustomed to. Teachers are working hard to create a classroom space that is engaging yet safe for our students, while learning during a pandemic.

Giving students a designated space to keep their classroom learning materials is one way to help stop the spread of germs among my students.

My plan is to utilize the bins in the cubby storage by labeling each bin with a students' name so that each student has their own personal space to store all of the materials that they will need to use in our classroom. This will prevent students from sharing classroom materials, which would in turn help cut down on the spread of germs and help keep my students healthy.
