Providing Gifted Students With Flexible Seating Options, Headphones, and Motivation

Help me give my students movement, focus, and choice in our classroom. Wobble stools and clipboards will provide flexible seating, while headphones allow students to focus. Prizes will keep students motivated to do their best!

My Project

While working with gifted students, I've found that movement and choice are so important to them. We all know that our classrooms aren't built to allow students to move around like their growing bodies need, so wobble stools are a great option to allow students movement. This helps students focus and promotes less disruption to student-learning.

We use laptops with programs in our classroom that require sound for individualized lessons.

This allows my gifted students to reach their potential, however the sound gets very distracting. Headphones will allow students to access this learning while not distracting others.

This project will allow my gifted students to more flexibly access learning and meet their needs.
