Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the great privilege of teaching students in New York City public school, specifically in the borough of Manhattan. In our classroom, I try to integrate as much technology as possible, recognizing how important these skills are in a 21st-century classroom, comprised of digital natives.
Students in our school are extremely motivated, driven, and creative individuals.
Nothing would make me happier than to send them each off to Middle School, prepared for the exciting learning beyond elementary school!
My Project
The Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) website provides numerous and practical educational resources for teachers. Through TPT, teachers can access fun and engaging teacher-created lessons and standards-aligned activities that promote learning for students in various grade levels. The TPT gift cards will allow me to purchase these materials for my class this year as we begin the year in a hybrid learning model.
As we continue with distance learning this coming fall, TPT will be very helpful in supporting students with engaging and interactive lessons as students navigate the school year learning from their homes.
Though I anticipate many hurdles and roadblocks along the way, I am confident that these resources will promote learning in various ways!
