Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
At the moment I do not know my students because we haven't received out class roster yet for the new school year. I have been at Voices for 4 years now and the students are great. Voices is a school that caters to a lot of low economic hispanic families. All these students are eager to learn and to be given a chance to show the world what they are capable of doing.
My Project
A lot of our students tend to not have books at home to read for their daily reading logs. We are starting this new school year online and my students will still be expected to complete a reading log. I would like for my students to have at least 2 books each that can belong to them and use them for reading. We are a bilingual school which is why I have also asked for some Spanish books. Reading does amazing things so I ask please help me provide books to my incoming Fourth grade class.
