Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a PK 3, PK 4 and Kindergarten teacher in a Title I campus. All my students are at different levels of the learning stages. Every single one of my students enjoys and loves what we do in the classroom. I do my best to differentiate everything in the classroom to accommodate their maturity and learning development. I consider this a special class because as they learn from me, I learn from them as well. My students are always eager to learn on a daily basis and excited to show me what they know. I love to see the products of what they create because that shows me that I am making a difference in their lives.
My Project
If these materials are provided for my students they will be able to learn through color instead of just black and white. As a Pk/Kinder class, a portion of our learning is through hands on activities and workstations. Students will be able to work with materials that I will be able to print for them in color. Also, modeling takes big part of my teaching, so I provide for my students many visuals on a daily basis. If we are granted the color printer and ink, I will be able to provide for many students an abundance of materials in color that they can use in class and even to take home to further their learning.
