Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students are open minded and ready to learn! These multi-cultural reading resources will help them become more engaged in reading stories from represented authors who write about students who look like them.
Students in our school coming from latino families in Mexico, Central America and South America.
Our newcomers enrich our dual language program with the extensive vocabulary from all their different countries of origin.
It is important for our students to feel proud of their roots and to continue developing their native language that is spoken at home.
