My Project
ELD students face so many obstacles! They're learning a new language, all their classes are using this new language, and everyone around them at school is speaking this new language! They're learning about different cultures along with all the usual difficulties of middle school! These students have overcome so much that I want them to be proud of how far they've come each year.
How better to showcase their learning than with a portfolio of their best work for them to keep and reflect on or show their friends and families.
English Language Development students should be proud of their accomplishments, and with a portfolio, they can do so. These portfolios will help keep their work and their reflections organized, so years down the road they can look back and see that they can accomplish anything if they put their mind to it.
