Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will use these binders to keep track of their success across the year in working with Deans of Student Support. The students working with the Dean have been recommended by their counselors, teachers, and parents based on attendance and their graduation status.

These organizational instruments will meticulously house assignments, projects, and assessments, acting as tangible representations of the journey each student undertakes.

Within their pages, a narrative will unfold, showcasing not just the end products, but the iterative process of learning and growth. Binders will become repositories of knowledge, storing not only completed tasks but also offer insights into the evolution of ideas and skills through quarterly reflections and goal setting meetings Deans will have with students. Together, binders and folders will serve as tangible artifacts, allowing students to not only document their academic achievements but also engage in meaningful self-assessment and goal-setting, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and reflection.
