This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you still have crumbled papers from your school years you value? I'd like to be able to protect these kind of memories for my students as long as possible. You can be the bond to help me make it happen.
I teach a very awesome group of first grade students that have grown on me in such a short time.
The school is part of a Title I district. And, they live in a neighborhood stricken by high poverty. The majority of them qualify for the free or reduced lunch program. However, they come in each morning smiling and ready to conquer the day full of enthusiasm.
My Project
The laminator and laminating pouches will help in protecting my student's work for lasting memories. In having the selected items easily accessible, I will be able to protect the children's materials and then send them home on the same day. I will also utilize it for the classroom bulletin board aids to recycle and reuse as long as possible. The convenience it will provide is indescribable in the middle of a busy school day.
