My students need software and accessories such as Screen Protectors, cases and headphones to take care of the precious technology that was provided by generous donors. We want to protect these gifts for future students.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"If we teach today as we taught yesterday, we rob our children of tomorrow," John Dewey. Technology plays a vital role in educating today's students. Please help my students protect our class technology.
My students are energetic, eager and motivated to learn, especially when it involves technology.
Our school is located in an urban area in Southern California. We are a Title 1 (Socio-Economically Disadvantaged) school.
Most of these students do not have access to technology that many other 4th graders do, and this will affect their future. More economically fortunate children their age have computers and other technology at their fingertips. My students deserve the same opportunity.
My Project
Donors at Donors Choose have generously provided a tablet, camera and (hopefully) a netbook for our class and now we need some basic accessories to best use them in class. We want to protect these valuable investments so future students can reap the benefits. We need cases for our camera, tablet, and netbook. We also need protective shield covers for our tablet.
In order for our technology to last all day, we need extra batteries so we have a charged battery on hand while using our technology. We also need headphones to properly utilize the technology individually and to not disrupt simultaneous learning. We are requesting Microsoft Word to help the students publish their science, math, and literacy reports and to teach them 21st century computer skills.
Without the essential accessories, we can't properly protect our tablet, camera, and netbook for future students to utilize.
