Protecting the Garden

Help me give my students two soil meters to check soil quality and a vinyl fence to protect the garden from stray balls from the playground!

My Project

We have been continually working on making our garden a wonderful learning space for our amazing students but recently noticed that our plants weren't thriving like we were hoping! After a little digging and research with our students, we learned that the quality of our soil may be off. I have requested two soil meters so we can test the PH of our soil as well as how much sun it gets and how damp it is.

Our garden beds are very close to the playground and have received their fair share of hits from playground equipment.

I have requested some fencing that will help keep the balls and other equipment from damaging our plants.
