I teach inquisitive, eager to learn, and creative second graders!. My students are little sponges soaking up all the knowledge they can. They are embracing virtual learning, as they find a way to complete lessons through technology. They support, encourage, and boost each others confidence. We are a family!
My school is located in an urban area where all students receive free lunch.
We are a priority school, which means we are in the bottom 5% of our states standardized testing. Despite the many obstacles my students may face, they are still have a strong desire to learn and are successful.
My Project
In using PPE in my classroom, my students will be able to practice good hygiene, and cleanliness. This is key for a safe learning environment. School teachers and children are walking into schools and classrooms facing a completely new dynamic than we have ever had before.
Even in the best of times, kids are little germ factories.
They easily spread illness to their peers and bring it home to their families. Protecting them in the classroom is going to take a combination of some training, some preparation, and the right supplies. The masks, sanitation station supplies, and vacuum cleaner will help aid in keeping my students safe during this time.
