Help me give my students protection against COVID. Ventilation will us protect from the virus. Our air conditioning system is old and does not do a good job. We need to sanitize our hands constantly, and touchless is best.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is a Title I school, and my students are kind and funny and eager to absorb all the knowledge they can. For many, school is the place where they feel safe and cared for. In school, they have staff and teachers who respect them and support them.
We have students that do not have access to the internet.
Their living conditions do not favor virtual learning. The only possibility is brick and mortar education, and they are returning to the building.
My Project
We need to be in school. Students thrive from the social and emotional connections at school. Hand sanitizer and a touchless dispenser will keep our little hands clean and keep us safer from COVID.
We need air to circulate in our classroom, and the fan will help us reduce the risk of COVID-19.

We love to do hands-on projects, and a STEAM book will help us have projects to develop our mathematical, scientific, and engineering talents.
