Protecting Every Heart on the Mountain With a New AED

Help me give my students and staff access to an additional AED unit in our building to make responding to emergencies more efficient and effective.

My Project

This project will bring a new AED unit to our school and allow us to respond to possible emergencies more quickly. Currently, we only have one in the building and depending on where you are, it is a long way to get to it. Having this one located either more centrally or on the other end of the building will make the response time much less in an emergency. Every second counts when someone is experiencing medical distress and having this additional unit will make everyone feel safer.

Safety and security are at the forefront of ensuring a safe learning environment for our students, and everything we can do to prepare for an emergency before one takes place makes everyone feel safer.

This unit will allow us to be more effective in our planning and response to any medical emergency that may take place.
