This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These materials will be used to create a protected play area outside of our pre-k classroom. This area is a useful grass area just a step outside our doors. It is currently ungated and, therefore, unsafe for our young students. The goal of this project is to bring learning outdoors with a safe environment and fun interactive activities.
Keeping our students safe while learning through play is our main focus.
The fencing is an important part of using this grass area. Our young students enjoy the fresh air while using the stepping stones and can find the joy in learning right in their neighborhood just outside of the school doors.
