This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For our next science unit, my students will be learning about animal structures and functions. I will integrate STEAM activities throughout this unit. As a cumulating project, my students will write an animal report of their choice, build its animal’s habit, and present about their animal.
Technology in the classroom makes learning fun, as it prepares students for the future!
We have a iPad Pro and a Macbook computer for students to use to research, watch videos and view images of their animal on the internet, to gather facts and information to help them write their animal reports. Having a touch screen device will allow my students to zoom in and out, so they can focus on the details of their animal and its habitats, without needing the mouse. The keyboard will help them type out their essays easier and the computer case and screen protector will protect our Macbook.
