This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The pop up canopy 10X20 will allow for outdoor play, lesson activities, and snack time for my pre-school special education students. We have a large area outside but it is not shaded at all. For about half a semester, we did have a small flimsy canopy but unfortunately it broke. Due to the weather being hot during the start of the school year, we need a way to keep our students cool and comfortable. The new canopy will allow my students to flourish in a safe outdoor environment.
The pop up canopy will provide a great outdoor experience for my students and staff.
