This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I was awarded a grant to bring students and teachers to Greece this summer, 2024 and these sun hats will be an added protection from the summer sun.

With your help, they will have 50 SPF protection from the blaring sun while exploring the ancient ruins and excavation sites.

This is one less expense for a safety item we need not worry about. Thanks so much!

I am fortunate to be able to share this once-in-a-lifetime experience for some inner-city students. Your assistance makes my planning and safety concerns about their welfare on this trip, easier.
