Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am the teacher of a very curious group of students. They attend a school that is classified as a Title I facility. All of them qualify for the free lunch program. The community they live in is stricken with a high level of poverty.
Despite these circumstances, they are so eager to please and be productive leaders.
They work so hard and come in each morning with warm greetings and huge smiles, which makes me look forward to each day.
My Project
We are going to try out Investigation Based Learning and I am going to need a space for my students to store their materials and projects. They will be expected to make visuals of their ideas for their presentations. As I look around my room, I am finding it a challenge on how to store their projects.
These colorful storage carts will help protect and store their projects/materials.
The colors can help remind them what color is for their group. This will be used for my 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.
Organization is a life skill they will continue to use.
