My Students

I applied for and received 5 iPads for classroom use through a district technology grant. The iPads need cases that will protect our new technology. I want my students to use the iPads freely, presenting information they have learned and stories they write.

I have 21 wonderful and energetic Kindergarteners.

Our school is in a vibrant urban area. We are surrounded by a historic, artistic, and diverse community. Our school is a pre-K through 8 performing and visual arts school. The students are immersed in music, art, and dance. My students are eager to use technology, create art, and express themselves.

My Project

Through a district grant I secured five iPads for my students. Now through Donors Choose I hope to ensure the tablets stay safe and fully charged for frequent use! I want my students to be able to handle the iPads daily to create electronic artifacts. Collaborative multi-media projects will allow the students to synthesize academic knowledge and practical technological skills to show mastery of Common Core standards. We need five heavy duty iPad cases and a charging station to charge and protect our fabulous new iPads. The cases and will allow the students to freely and safely handle the iPads without fear that the iPads will be damaged by little hands. The charging station will ensure that the tablets will be used often! Thank-you so much for making our Kindergarten tablets safe, secure, and charged!
