This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a wonderful school, in a hardworking community, in Corona, NY. My students are enthusiastic and eager to learn. They come from caring families who want the best for them and help them out in every way they can, but often rely on the school community for the most support. My students love coming to school and fully appreciate any new experiences or resources provided for them. They are eager to learn to read and write while establishing friendships.
My Project
We are eager to use our tablets in the classroom but we are also a little nervous because we are wiggley little people and our tablets do not have protective cases.
It would be reassuring to our teacher if we could move about the room with the tablets in their protective covers.
We also would like special magic pens to help us mimic writing with pencils instead of just using our pointer fingers. We are just learning to form our letters and numbers so the pens would be very useful.
