This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Venturing outdoors, my students thrive as they plant, weed, and maintain our garden and schoolyard. They're delving into the essence of stewardship within our school and community. To empower them further, we seek gloves and trash grabbers, to safeguard their hands during weed-pulling, moving rocks, planting, and trash retrieval.

Your invaluable support will protect our students' hands as they passionately advance environmental stewardship through their impactful projects.

We hope to have students from preschool through fifth grade taking ownership and responsibility of their environment while enjoying the benefits of being outdoors.
