Help me give my students nonfiction picture books about conservation and environmental protection stickers to raise awareness about protecting our planet.

My Project

Plastic straws, pollution and people, oh my! We definitely have a problem so now it's time to find a solution. We hope to get more nonfiction picture books about conservation into our classroom library as well as environmental protection stickers to raise awareness about protecting our planet.

Reading books is a powerful way to ignite a passion for change among my fourth graders!

Picture books such as The Last Plastic Straw: A Plastic Problem and Finding Ways to Fix It and Washed Ashore: Making Art from Ocean Plastic, will inspire my learners to see the problem and find creative ways to be a part of the solution.

Informational books such as Eavesdropping on Elephants: How Listening Helps Conservation will show my students how researchers and scientists are working to discover ways to help animals. Where as books such as Water: How We Can Protect Our Freshwater is a call for action to use water wisely, and work together to protect a precious shared resource.

Our planet needs protecting and there's no doubt these books will inspire inquisitive minds to make a change for the better!
