Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students do not come from the wealthiest families. They do not have the best things. They are low-income, immigrant families, mainly from Spanish-speaking countries. They work hard and care about education.
We live in NY and go to an NYC public school.
They try their best every day. The students all get free lunch and most of the supplies they have are the basics; pencils, paper, book bags, and the supplies needed for daily school life. I try to supply as much as I can to lift the burden of money from the families.
My Project
We are working hard. We are creating work during writing, math, science, social studies. We are able to make anchor charts. All of these things we make we want to last a long time.
The laminator and pockets will allow us to protect our work.
We will be able to laminate anything we want. We will be able to use the laminated products to show off our work. We will even be able to write on it with dry erase markers, therefore creating tasks and work we can use for a long time.
