Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school with limited funds. My students are predominantly from low-income families. Many are not native English speakers. They often come to school with few experiences and burdens that weigh on them. Despite the challenges they face, they are eager to learn and succeed!
I am always seeking new ways to reach my students, making learning connect for them.
I want to make sure I help them become well-rounded citizens at home, in school, and throughout the community.
My Project
Our students are learning during a pandemic. Some are virtual every day and others travel for in-person learning in the classroom. Either way, they are responsible for the care of a school-provided device and charger.

I would like to provide each one of them with a protective Chromebook case and a wireless mouse to help protect their little wrists.
