This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
At our school, our 2nd graders are true superstars! They are motivated, hardworking, and lovable students. They strive to do their best each and every day and in turn we try to do the best for them.
Our students are innovators for the future and are always thirsty for new types of technology!
They love working on hands-on and engaging activities that get their minds working and bodies moving! Our 2nd graders are always eager to infuse technology into all aspects of their learning!
My Project
We are ready to get started with our classroom iPads! We need your help! My students are eager to begin coding on Code.org, and using WonderBots in our classroom. We are also excited to begin creating videos during our Reading block while we read our chapter books and complete interactive projects in our classroom as soon as we can acquire iPad covers. We would like to keep our brand new iPads safe from damage as we work in collaborative groups.
Being that our school was just accredited as a certified STEM school, I want to be able to expose my students to all the wonderful and interactive resources available through the use of the iPads our class was able to receive from DonorsChoose.org.
