This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom floors are under attack! The constant scraping of chair legs is not only causing visible damage but also creating a major distraction for the students and teachers in the classrooms below. Every time a chair is pulled in or out, the noise echoes through the floor, disrupting lessons and making it harder for everyone to focus.

A simple yet effective solution?

Tennis balls on chair legs! By placing tennis balls on the feet of our chairs, we can significantly reduce noise levels, allowing for a more peaceful and productive learning environment—both in our classroom and for those beneath us.

But that’s not all! These tennis ball chair protectors will also help preserve our floors, preventing the black scuff marks and wear-and-tear that lead to costly repairs and extra cleaning. By taking this small step, we can extend the life of our floors, reduce maintenance time, and save valuable resources for our school.

Let’s take action now to create a quieter, cleaner, and more focused learning space for everyone!
