My Project
The goal of this project is to support various students' music learning and experience utilizing props and instruments. First, the pom pom and bells will utilized as a prop of student's performances. These props will excite many students on their practices and performances and it will motivate them to practice for their performances, because they know that they need to earn to borrow these props in my classroom. Second, the 'ukulele cases will allow many of my students to bring their 'ukuleles to out-of-campus performances safely. I have about 27 student 'ukulele that are currently stored in cardboard boxes. If we can put those instruments in the cases, students will have a handle to hold and transport their 'ukulele safely. Third, the ribbons will be used to tie on the instrument to showcase the individual student's achievement. With inspiration of Recorder Karate, the different color ribbons will achieved according on student's hard work. Lastly, the chalk markers are something I like to used a lot for my board that I hang outside my classroom door. On that board, I write the activities of the daily music recess for students to provide more opportunity to have fun with music.
My students are special that many are consistently striving to meet their GLOs with their best abilities, therefore they should deserve something to indicate their hard works.
These props and instruments can be a great achievement for students because they understand that they need to earn to borrow these props and instruments from me by following their classroom rules and conduct. Also, the ribbons tied around their instruments can showcase their achievement to others. Lastly, I can use the markers to write the music recess activities to provide more time for students to make music.
