Promoting Sustainability for Earth Day

Help me give my students an Epson Ecotank printer, sublimation ink, and sublimation paper to create our own t-shirts to promote recycling and environmentally sustainable choices.

My Project

Every year my students learn about conservation and sustainability. They have a recycling assembly, work with local environmental groups to help monitor our watershed, and promote the conservation of water and electricity around our school. This year we plan to add wearing student-designed environmental t-shirts to our work.

Students will design t-shirts to wear during our annual Earth Day Parade using a sublimation printer and heat press.

They will promote our efforts to "keep green" and share their knowledge with others by being active billboards for conservation and sustainability as they spread the word about recycling and being careful how we use natural resources.
