Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials in this project will help me provide my students with an organization system that will help promote independence for each child. The locker system will be used for their personal items such as bookbags, lunch boxes, and sweaters. Using these lockers will help alleviate the walking space in the classroom so people so not continuously trip and fall over the bookbags.
Instilling independence at a young age helps them with their social emotional well being as well.
When the children are given the opportunity to be independent they begin to view themselves differently and want to explore and try new things; as their teacher this is my ultimate goal.
